Comprehensive Plan

Camiros was retained by the City of Appleton to help staff complete the update of its comprehensive plan, conceived as a joint consultant-city staff endeavor. Camiros prepared the work program for the completion of the plan, assigned roles and responsibilities for the consultants and the planning staff, and provided the overall guidance for the implementation of the update. Other responsibilities included the preparation of the overall goals and objectives, the overall land use framework, the downtown plan component and two new neighborhood growth plans. City staff was responsible for the preparation of the related transpiration and utilities systems plan, demographic projections, refinement of the land use plan for developed sections of the city, and preparation of the community facilities element. Camiros was also responsible for the final organization of the plan and its final production.
