Camiros served as the project team leader in the preparation of a planned unit development master plan for this 480 acre golf course community. Initial site analysis included the mapping of wetland, floodplain and soil conditions, an analysis of slope and existing vegetation characteristics, and a review of local development controls. The site plan layout integrated the environmental sensitivity of the site with the requirements of a championship caliber golf course and the development of high quality residential home sites. Camiros staff worked with highly regarded golf course architects Roger Packard and Associates to ensure that the preliminary course layout would accommodate the highest quality golf course design.
