JACQUES GOURGUECHON, AICP, PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
Jacques Gourguechon, co-founder of the firm, is a charter member of the American Planning Association (APA). In past years, he served as president of the Illinois Chapter of the APA and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
Mr. Gourguechon has been committed to sustainable planning and the protection of the earth’s natural resources through thoughtful planning since the inception of his career. In all his work, he displays a commitment to the health of the human component of large and small settlements, as well as the land and resources on which they are built. Natural resource planning and human investment planning together form his mission as a planning leader throughout his 35 year career at Camiros.

LESLIE S. POLLOCK, FAICP, PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
Leslie Pollock, co-founder of Camiros, is nationally recognized for his work in neighborhood planning, TOD and zoning. Clients include Baltimore, MD; Chicago, IL; Minneapolis, MN; New Orleans, LA; Phoenix, AZ; Salt Lake City, UT; Toledo, OH; and Raleigh, NC.
Les has served on public and professional boards and commissions including as a City Council member and chair of the Plan Commission in Wilmette, Illinois, member of the Mayor’s Landscape Task Force in Chicago, and past President of Lambda Alpha International – an international land economics honorary society.
He has served on the faculty at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, the University of Illinois – Chicago, Illinois Institute of Technology, and Loyola University. He has written on various aspects of planning and zoning, and holds degrees in architecture and urban planning from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

WILLIAM R. JAMES, AICP, ASLA, PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
Mr. James has over twenty years of consulting experience, including significant assignments in commercial redevelopment, land use planning and streetscape enhancement. As head of Camiros’ landscape and urban design practice, Mr. James has prepared numerous comprehensive plans, and his work has resulted in the implementation of improvements that enhance the functionality and visual quality of the urban environment. He also has broad experience in the preparation of subarea and redevelopment plans, as well as experience providing services as a development advisor.

ARISTA STRUNGYS, AICP, PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
Arista Strungys possesses a wealth of experience from a wide array of zoning and planning projects throughout her career with Camiros. Ms. Strungys is the primary author of the zoning ordinances for many communities, including Baltimore, Maryland; New Orleans, Louisiana; Newark, New Jersey; Clark County (Las Vegas), Nevada; Salt Lake County, Utah; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Riverside, Park Ridge, River Grove, Hinsdale, La Grange Park, Mundelein, Winnebago County, and Homewood, Illinois. Arista is skilled in utilizing a variety of regulatory techniques including form-based, performance-based and “green”-oriented zoning to help communities achieve their long-term vision.

JEANNE LINDWALL, AICP, PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
Jeanne Lindwall is a planner with more than thirty years of planning experience who can bring an economic development perspective to the comprehensive planning process. She has expertise in the areas of tax increment financing, fiscal impact analysis and capital improvement programming that can bring a real world perspective to the visions that are central to the development of community improvement plans.
Ms. Lindwall also has significant experience in public involvement. Community building requires that trust be established among the various stakeholder groups that will be involved in implementing the plan and who will be impacted by the outcome, and Ms. Lindwall is skilled at finding common ground among the many interests and community perspectives.

ADAM ROSA, AICP, SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Over the past thirteen years, Adam Rosa has demonstrated the ability to generate creative planning and design concepts focused both on placemaking and improving existing neighborhoods. Recently, he has led a variety of transit-oriented development plans from the corridor level to specific station area design. Mr. Rosa believes that successful communities must blend transportation infrastructure and public space with appropriate land use and urban form. Each of these ingredients is essential to creating places where people want to live, work and play.

NIKOLAS DAVIS, ASLA, ASSOCIATE
Nikolas Davis is a Camiros Associate who offers rich skills and experience in landscape architecture, urban design, and graphics development. He has participated in the development of projects including streetscape design, site planning and design, corridor design and land use planning, assisting clients implement a range of sustainable techniques and best practices. Nik has also prepared Design Guidelines, and assisted with the development of Form-Based Codes for many communities throughout Illinois and across the country. His technical skills include GIS analysis and planning, concept design, 3-D visualization, rendering and construction detailing.

JACOB SEID, AICP, ASSOCIATE
Jacob Seid is a Camiros Associate with a broad range of experience in planning, land use and economic development. He has completed zoning ordinance updates for small towns such as North Aurora, Mundelein and Lincolnshire, Illinois and assisted on zoning analysis for large cities such as Baltimore, Buffalo and New Orleans. Mr. Seid is a skilled user of geographic information systems (GIS) technology and has performed numerous technical studies of community development patterns. He has performed TIF-eligibility analysis in neighborhoods throughout Chicago and has produced job and economic development impact reports as part of the firm’s renewable energy practice.

CHRISTOPHER JENNETTE, ASLA, ASSOCIATE
Chris Jennette is a Camiros Associate who brings a broad range of technical and research-based experience, as well as an extensive set of creative and analytical skills to Camiros projects. Chris possesses strong organizational, editorial, and graphic abilities, and is skilled in the creation of graphic resources such as maps, diagrams, character sketches, and detailed plan renderings. His site planning and development experience includes a range of project types from mixed-use, transit-oriented town centers, to greenways, commercial corridors, and institutional campuses. His technical skills include GIS analysis and planning, conceptual design, and visualization utilizing 2D and 3D software.
